£240 - Gaza Warm Clothes: More than warmth, a gesture of love to the ummah – provide a whole family with warm winter clothing
Winter in Palestine
The devastating war in Gaza has decimated a community that has persevered, rebuilt and survived for years. Over 44,000 people have been killed, including 16,000 children. Entire communities have been flattened, schools, shelters, hospitals and farmland have been bombed, leaving almost the entire population of Gaza out in the cold. Water and electricity networks, schools, and hospitals have been damaged and destroyed.
1.9 million people in Gaza have been displaced. But constant attacks means that they are continuously being displaced, unable to create any sense of stability, shelter or routine.
As winter hits, people are still facing traumatic violence daily, dealing with the loss of loved ones, hunger, now with the added struggle of protecting their families against sickness, the cold, floodings, and leaking shelters.
With the complete destruction of healthcare, it’s critical that we protect as many Palestinians as possible from winter sicknesses.
The urgency of the situation in Gaza cannot be overstated, and people here need immediate help to survive the winter.

Keep a family in Gaza warm this winter
Donate to our Gaza Winter Emergency Appeal and help us to protect the most vulnerable families from snow, rain, flooding, freezing temperatures and bitter winds. In Palestine, £240 will provide warm winter clothes to an entire family in Gaza. They’ll receive clothing vouchers which allows them to select the clothes to suit their family’s needs from two large clothing points. The way we implement this project may change, depending on how and where it’s most secure to do so closer to the day, but the core of the project will remain providing warm winter clothing in Gaza.
