The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.” (Hadith Ahmad)

The devastating floods in early 2023, which submerged a third of Pakistan at its peak, destroyed over one million homes, hundreds of thousands of livestock, thousands of miles of roads, and hundreds of bridges. Worst affected were the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan.

We’re working to help Pakistanis recover and rebuild, providing water filtration systems and flood-resistant homes.

£50 – Supplies water filters for 5 people with clean water for up to 50 days.

£100 – Supplies water filters for 10 people with clean water for up to 50 days.

£880 – provide a deep water well for 105 people affected by drought

£1,800 – Support a community water filtration system that provides clean water to 2,000 people.

£2,700 – provide a durable flood-resistant home to a family whose house was destroyed in the floods. Each home consists of a room, kitchen, and toilet. (244 square feet)

As an official response and recovery relief organisation in Pakistan, we were among the first to provide emergency support and we’re continuing to support communities as they rebuild.

Generous donors have helped us to reach 70,000 flood-affected survivors in the hardest hit areas in Pakistan in the first weeks following the floods, including.

• Food Aid – 40,000 families

• Hot Meals –17,309 individuals

• Healthcare assistance – 6,750 individuals

• Dignity and hygiene kits – 6,046 families

• Cash assistance - 15,000 families
