Feed a Fasting Family for a Month in Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, or Senegal

A mercy to families in conflict and crisis

£75 will provide a month of iftars to a family in Senegal, Nigeria, Pakistan, or Iraq, or to a Rohingya refugee family in Bangladesh. Your charity will help families to eat well and to observe Ramadan, without worrying where their next meal will come from. In Iraq, 2.5 million people urgently need humanitarian help to have enough food or to support their livelihood.

In Nigeria, the removal of fuel subsidies, a devaluation of the currency, and soaring food costs have pushed the most vulnerable even deeper into hunger. Donate and help us to support widows, orphans, sick, older, and disabled people across 10 states.

In Pakistan, extreme weather patterns caused by climate shocks continue to decimate communities. Massive flooding in 2022 and monsoon rains in 2023 have been followed by heavy rains and flash floods during the spring and summer of 2024. Families continue to struggle to recover, and 7.9 million people are facing high levels of starvation. Help us to provide nourishing meals to families struggling to cope in Bagh, Mansehra, and Rawalpindi.

In Senegal, your charity will help families containing widows, orphans, old people, and people with disabilities in Dakar, Thies, Diourbel, and Kafrine.

Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh is home to almost a million Rohingya refugees who have been forced out of their homes in Myanmar. Forbidden from working and facing further restrictions, they are forced to depend on aid in order to survive.

In Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Senegal, your food parcel will provide both iftar and suhoor to a family for the month of Ramadan.

When you provide an iftar to a fasting person, you’re rewarded with the same blessings as the person who fasted. Provide up to 150 iftars this Ramadan, and receive multiplied reward in the holy month.

What does my donation provide?

With so many families struggling this year, we’ll be distributing your food parcels across 17 countries, and packing them with nutritious, locally-tailored food items. Each pack will include staples, such as sugar, rice, and flour, as well as local preferences, such as chickpeas, lentils, tea, milk powder, or pasta.
