Multiply your Zakat by 70 times
This project is a profound way to give your Zakat, transforming the life of a person that has survived against the odds of bombing, displacement, and utter horror. Provide them with a prosthetic limb to help them to recover mobility and independence, and to begin to heal from the traumatic loss of their arm or leg.
What we’re providing
In partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO), we’re providing two mobile prosthetic fitting units, equipped with advanced tools and trained doctors. We’re able to fit prosthetics for people who have lost limbs in one hour, while also providing a full consultation, guidance, and psychological support.
Once access between areas in Gaza has improved, we will extend this project to field hospitals and other neighbourhoods to help treat as many people as possible.
Donate this Ramadan, and allow us to transform the holy month for a person who has endured unimaginable trauma, pain, and loss.
Destruction in Gaza
A staggering 90% of homes have been destroyed in the attacks in Gaza, and 66% of all buildings have been damaged or destroyed. More than 111,000 people have been injured in Gaza since October 9, and at least 4,500 people have undergone amputation, losing all or part of their arm or legs, most commonly in bombings.
Help a person to regain independence and mobility this Ramadan, and help them to begin to overcome the trauma of the violence they have endured.

Human Appeal in Gaza
Our staff have been working every single day since October 9 2023. In that time, they’ve provided 8,044,658 items of aid to 1,728,317* people. Throughout the bombing, they continued to provide food, water, shelter, medical supplies, mobile clinics, and warm clothing.
Our work so far
Since October 9 2023, we’ve provided:
Why give through Human Appeal?
With over 33 years of experience in Gaza, we have the expertise and determination to navigate through barriers, source supplies locally, and deliver critical aid to those in need. Even as the war on Gaza continues, our heroic staff in Gaza is able to run incredible projects.
During Ramadan, we helped over 700,000 people, and we delivered your Qurbani to almost 17,000 people, despite the siege and closed borders. Over the past year, we’ve begun the process of sponsoring 4,000 new orphans in Gaza, and we’ve delivered hot meals to over 2 million people.
*In extreme emergencies like this it is difficult to accurately count how many individual people we helped but to conservatively calculate this figure, we avoid double counting, this means that if we distributed 3,000 meals on a Tuesday and 3,000 on a Wednesday in the same area, then we only count this as 3,000 people, despite providing 6,000 meals.
