Care for a child of the ummah
Right now, 153 million children across the globe are orphans, and around 5,700 more are orphaned every single day. In any community, orphans are always one of the most vulnerable groups, often facing hunger, disease, exploitation and extreme cycles of poverty that they need help to break out of.
What you’ll provide
When you become a sponsor, you provide a child who has lost their father or both parents with a monthly fund, which their mother or caregiver uses to provide them with food, shelter, school supplies, clothes, and healthcare. To protect childhoods and futures, a child must stay in education to receive the sponsorship.
The sponsor’s connection
We’ll provide you with a report on the child you sponsor twice a year – we’re the only organization to do this. You’ll learn about their living situation, their hobbies, friends, and how they’re doing at school. They’ll also send you a drawing or letter to help you to get to know them better.

You can choose where you sponsor a child, as well as their age and gender – or you can leave it to our Orphan and Child Welfare Team to select the child in the most urgent need of sponsorship. It takes just a few minutes to register, and to change a child’s life.

Our orphan sponsorship programme is completely Zakat-applicable too, allowing you to fulfil this beautiful Islamic duty, while helping the most vulnerable in our ummah.
Currently our sponsors are helping over 22,0000 orphans across nine countries, but we have thousands more who are registered with us and waiting for someone to sponsor them.
