£140 - Provide vulnerable Pakistani with cataract surgery to prevent and reverse blindness.

Forgotten and neglected

An estimated 23 million people in Pakistan are visually impaired, and for 80%, that blindness is curable or reversible. Around 3 million children are visually impaired, and every three minutes, another person develops an eye disease in Pakistan.

Let’s be the change that these vulnerable people need.

For just £140, you can can restore the eyesight of a vulnerable person in the coastal areas of Pakistan, as well as Pakistan-administered Kashmir. It’s a priceless gift to give someone their sight back, allowing them to live with independence and dignity, which the person you’re helping wouldn’t be able to afford without your help.

A future of change

When a person is cured of cataracts, especially in communities with limited accessibility for the visually impaired, they not only have their eyesight restored, but they’re able to navigate their environment, earn a living, and care for their families. It provides ongoing benefits for the whole family for years to come.

With your help, we want to support 100 people to be able to see, and remove the risk of blindness.

We’ll also be providing a free eye test camp and awareness sessions to help the local community to assess their sight, and intervene before the loss of vision.
